At 19:33 local time on August 8, 2025, the cumulative power generation of the Upper Marsyangdi A Hydropower station exceeded 3 billion kilowatt-hours. The project total installed capacity is 50MW, it started construction in January 2013 and entered commercial operation on January 1, 2017. It provides over 360 million kilowatt-hours of high-quality and stable clean energy to regions such as Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal, and Pokhara every year.
