As of December 31, 2024, the annual power generation of Barisal power station reached 1.799 billion KWH, an increase of 735 million KWH, and the utilization hours of the unit increased to 5,427 hours, an increase of 2,234 hours. The power station maintained a safe and stable production situation throughout the year, and achieved a total of 738 days of safe production since commercial operation. The stable operation of the power station has strongly promoted the local economic and social development and the improvement of  livelihood, and provided a solid and reliable power guarantee for Bangladesh.
