As of 14:00 on May 17th, the cumulative power generation of Upper Marsyangdi A hydropower station exceeded 100 million kilowatt-hours in 2025, and the cumulative power generation since its commercial operation has reached 2.9 billion kilowatt-hours. It officially entered commercial operation on January 1, 2017. Since the power station was put into operation, the annual operating hours of the unit have exceeded 8,000 hours, providing over 360 million kilowatt-hours of clean energy to Kathmandu and Pokhara every year.
